Reds Sign Tony Modra
Former Coleman Medallist to play out season with the Reds
The PAOCFC is pleased to announce that we have signed Tony Modra for the remainder of the season. Tony will be a valuable resource in fast tracking the development of some of the younger players at the club. The impact that Mark Ricciuto has had to date has been amazing and we look forward to much of the same from Tony.
The club currently has its youngest group together in many years. 15 of the 21 players that took to the field on Saturday against Golden Grove were aged between 18-22 years of age while the remainder fall into the 23-29 age bracket. What is even more amazing is that 5 of the weekend’s team have come straight out of school football last year into our A Grade this year.
It is a very exciting time for the club with so much youth in the playing group and we are glad that both Tony Modra and Mark Ricciuto are around the club to help the development of our young list.
